Solicitation

This website does not constitute and should not be used for the purpose of an offer or solicitation in any jurisdiction or in any circumstances in which such offer or solicitation is unlawful or not authorised.  In particular, the provision of the information in this section of the website does not constitute an offer to purchase securities to any person in the United States or to any U.S. Person as such term is defined under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended.  The information contained in this site about Consortium is not directed to any person in the United States.

Advice and taxation

Consortium does not offer investment or tax advice.  No information contained within this section of the website should be construed as investment or tax advice.  Taxation will depend on individual financial circumstances and the country of residence.   Investors should take advice on their tax position if they have any uncertainty about the tax consequences of an investment.

UK Financial Reporting Council’s Stewardship Code

Under Rule 2.2.3R of the FCA’s Conduct of Business Sourcebook, Consortium is required to include on this website a disclosure about the nature of its commitment to the UK Financial Reporting Council’s Stewardship Code (Code) or, where it does not commit to the Code, its alternative investment strategy.  The Code is a voluntary code and sets out a number of principles relating to engagement by investors with UK equity issuers.

The funds that Consortium operates typically pursue a strategy involving direct investment in real estate and do not trade in single equities.  Consequently, while Consortium supports the general objectives that underlie the Code, the provisions of the Code are not relevant to the type of trading currently undertaken by Consortium.  If the investment strategies of the funds operated by Consortium change in such a manner that the provisions of the Code become relevant, Consortium will amend this disclosure accordingly.

Key Information Documents (KIDs)

Due to the restrictions in marketing alternative investment funds in the UK, KIDs for funds involving Consortium are only available upon request to those persons eligible to receive them.
